The Godfather Review

The Godfather part 1 is regarded has one of the best mobster movies of if the best. Here is My review. Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone,  Al Pacino as Michael Corleone, James Caan as Santino "Sonny" Corleone and Robert Duvall as Tom Hagen. (Taken From Google) Widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time, this mob drama, based on Mario Puzo's novel of the same name, focuses on the powerful Italian-American crime family of Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando). When the don's youngest son, Michael (Al Pacino), reluctantly joins the Mafia, he becomes involved in the inevitable cycle of violence and betrayal. Although Michael tries to maintain a normal relationship with his wife, Kay (Diane Keaton), he is drawn deeper into the family business. It's one of the those films like The Shawshank Redemption, 12 Years a Slave, Schindler's list,The Third Man were it was perfect throughout.

For me it is one of the best Mobster films i have ever seen. The Writing, Character Development,Pacing, Story and Directing From Francis Ford Coppola.
